The COVID variants’ Fast Spread in Europe has become a severe issue. The virus swept with incredible pace through a school in the Bollate suburb of Milan. These countries include Great Britain, Denmark, Italy, Ireland, Germany, the Netherlands, France, Israel, Spain and Portugal. The WHO experts cautioned that it is up to 50% more transmissible than the original variant. This fact makes this very difficult to deal with previous practices of SOPs.
“That is why health systems are having more struggle now”, Kluge said. “It is at a turning point. We must defend our fort and remain vigilant.”
Intense Emergency in Lombardy
Intensive care wards are again filling up in Lombardy. Remember, this place faced the brunt of Italy’s spring surge last year.
